General CommentsPurchased my HHR used about a year ago with 34,000 miles. Pros-good gas mileage, smooth ride, roomy, cool style, tight steering, comfortable. Cons-window switch placement, lacks power.
Overall - love this little car and would definitely purchase another.
Nice ride for small footprint, fun to cruise, solid feel.

General CommentsPleasantly surprised at 108,000 miles it still drives out almost like new. Overall a nice dependable car with smaller environmental impact than bigger SUV. Solid feel with comfortable quiet ride. All OEM components still working except for a few replacements. I like tight steering. so front end tie rods bushings replaced. I felt a little steering play at 80000 and just had to tighten it up with some new front end steering replacement parts. Normal wear parts that's all. Shifter lever broke and replaced. Don't get rough with automatic shifter lever or you will be replacing it often. I'm second owner and I think first owner was bit auto abusive. The one big issue I have with this little gem of a ride is rear cargo area. My golf clubs are too long to lay horizontally along back door gate. Clubs to fit must ride diagonally and sloped. Now that is a big issue. No nice way to fit golfclubs in back cargo area.

Pros reliable, good fuel mileage, packs everything in (this can be a con if you are around people who constantly need help moving things that won't fit in their cars), small enough to get in and out of small places (parallel parking is a cinch!), power tinted windows on the most basic model, Aux input for your MP3 player or ipod, two trip odometers and many other odomoter features, and too much more.
Cons A little slow to accelerate...the molding in front of the rear wheel gets really beat up from pieces of pavement and rocks, etc. being shot back from the front tires when you're driving, the seats stain easily and you need to buy upholstery cleaner from the dealer to get the stains out (it works really well but is a little expensive). Pretty minimal stuff.

Yes, I recommend this vehicle.
Pros Very sturdy car for the price. I was in an accident(head on at 70mph) and recieved only minor injures. Love the drive, very fun car. Enough room in cargo area for groceries and kids sports equip.
Cons The window switches are in a poor location( middle console).So you do have to take your eye off the road to adjust them.
