General CommentsI saw a picture of the SS in 2005, and said wow! I traded my 05' Caddy CTS-V and bought A 06' silver SS-AWD. Great ride, looks, power and the awd helped me out one day when trapped in the snow. Concerns were rear door weather stripping kept coming off or melting in heat? During hard acceleration it sometimes appeared to go into engine rev. mod between gears. It was not often so problem couldn't be reproduced at dealer service. Back in 2006 gas prices went up to $5/ gal. for premium and estimates were that prices would continue well beyond $5/gal ! People were selling their SUV's and trucks like crazy. My max.Hwy mpg was 17-18mpg. I sometimes had to travel 90-100 miles in a day. You can do the math. I traded my SS in for a 08' Malibu LTZ 4 clylinder 32 mpg:) Unfortunately 2 week's later gas prices maxed out, and dropped down around $3.25/gal. I have regretted the trade ever since. Family needs a SUV again. Maybe the few bugs are OK and its worth it. Unfortunately the resale value is so high. Used trucks, let the buyer be where.

General CommentsI bought my Trail Blazer used in May of 2010. It was love at first sight. Half way through the winter that year my 4x4 switch cracked and broke off. Didn't even get to use it maybe 2 times. Then the control panel in the door somehow was fried. And i mean fried. The rear defroster doesn't work. I have to have the center console loose so that I can get my hand up underneath it to release the shifter that freezes up. Head light issues, water pump is just about to go..... all this within about a year and a half of ownership. I have been a Chevy girl my whole life... I am beginning to reconsider... I am very well aware of the repair and maintaince of vehicle ownership. But this is rediculious! I have a 98 Cavalier and she still runs just as good as i bought her, love her!! But i think i am done with Chevy for a while..
