General CommentsI have a sxt rwd 5.9l Durango. Pros: very comfortable for long road trips up front. drives very steady at high speeds. good brakes. does not feel like a large SUV. Great gas mileage at 80mph with cruise control set (i have gotten 26-27MPG! NO LIE) *note this is ONLY on long roadtrips at speed! Most important, POWER. the 5.9L RWD is a monster. It will stay bumper to bumper with the same era stock Mustang GT from the stop light. Never ending passing power (this thing will hit 110MPH quick when passing on the highways..dont get a ticket!) Cons: inefficient cooling system. seems to creep up the temp gauge quickly. Horrible front ball joints and bushings. interrior electrical issues. Worst of all would be in town gas mileage (realistically 10MPG) AC does not seem to work well. lack of rear passenger room
General CommentsPure delight, perfect to sit and drive in ergonomically. Riding view is just perfect over most cars, safe feeling vehicle with out being giant sloppy big. Have dark leather and carpet that is beyond kid proof; have third row that we use alot with other kids. Blows through snow with no effort. We have driven this suv to Florida four times with out a glitch. Is fast and steady. Watch out for ball joints though they go bad and you dont even know it mechanic has to put on lift with support thing to test them ours were really bad, other wise a beast.
