General CommentsThe overall performance and handling has been very good. Engine is responsive, tractions well in wet weather, and has met our overall needs nicely. There are 2 flaws. The special fabric seats stain with just a drop of water. What a pain to keep clean!
The other concern was body integrity. Just AFTER the 5 year warrantee, we discovered dust on the door, hood, and hatch seams. Out of pocket repairs were needed to preserve the car, and Ford was hardly as asset in cleaning the car up.
General CommentsI am absolutely in love with my 2008 Ford Escape. It drives like a small car -- it's so easy to park and to see surrounding vehicles out the windows-- but it has tons of the space and convenience of an SUV!! I drove a small car before and this handles just as well and it feels great to sit up high!! The defrost, heater and AC works perfect for all kinds of weather conditions. I love having the USB port for my iPod!!! I wanted to give a heads up though about something I read in a review before I purchased the car-- the cloth seats are easily stained (water shows up even) but that is a TEENY price to pay for this beloved car of mine. I give this car a A++++ and I will continue to buy Escapes from now on. THANK YOU!!!
