Yes, I recommend this vehicle.
Pros Roomy. Excellent mileage. Good seats. Driveability is excellent. Flex fuel engine nice also.
Cons HUGE turning circle. Hard to change cabin air filter.
General CommentsI have a 2003 and two 2007 Tauri. I chose not to buy a new Taurus in favor of a 2007 "big body", based on my ownership experience with them. Took a long time to find one with low enough mileage, but it's worth it. Excellent driveability, roomy, and all the "bells and whistles" you would want for a very good price. Just can't beat it. My only real complaint is the huge turning circle of the vehicle. When Ford went to the 16" wheels, they did not provide any additional clearance in the wheel wells, which limits steering travel. The 2005-2007 models had been in production for years, and just about all the "bugs" are out of them, so excellent for reliability and customer comfort.

Yes, I recommend this vehicle.
Pros Good gas mileage for size of car, comfortable ride -- roomy.
Cons Low horsepower for size of car.
General CommentsI've owned this Taurus SE for almost one year & have racked up 20,000 miles. I bought it as a program car with 34,000 miles on it. The only problem I had was the exhaust pipe falling off the manifold due to a manufacturer's defect. That problem was fixed by a dealership through Ford warranty. Besides that, it has been great!!
