General Comments113000 miles so far. bought it with 10,000 mile. Can not complain!!! Haven't has to put money into it other than normal maintenance.! Only have had three issues, 1. fuel pump when I first bought it connection failed(warranty) 2. Coil went dead. But that was an easy test and an easy repair. 3. heater core started leaking. (that was a pain! But for a car that is 12 years old now. I can not complain and whats great about the jimmy,blazer, bravata, lots around so parts are cheap and easy to find!
Now that I got kids running around looking for another on but 4 door. gas millage I have gotten between 17 and 22 mpg. But I also normally drive 65.
General CommentsThis gmc Jimmy is more efficiently that people give it credit for. Mine gets over 29 miles to the gallon and has been a outstanding car for the past 10 years before it gave any problems. With only the basic repairs done still gives you a run for your money.
It's sad that such a good car that didn't break down had to be token off the shelf and done away with. They brought back all the problem cars back like the Explorer , and most fords vehicles that run for 6 to 8 months then break down on you leaving you stranded. I can say at least the one time mine did it gave me 2 days warning before it happen leaving me time to gather money to prepare for it.
Bring the jimmy back for the new 2014 GMC Jimmy deluxe Adding the same size tires but make sure the wheel aliment is better built.
