General CommentsJust purchased my 4th Lexus LS, two LS400, a LS430 and now the LS460. Wow - Mercs, Audis and BMWs are way behind on tech and comfort. And reliability - there's nothing like a Lexus. Economy takes a a hit - but then it makes up for it with everything else........
What a pleasure to drive .............. LS460 - just amazing and after 20 years of driving them I wouldn't consider changing....

Pros Reliable - but most cars are now-a-days.
Smooth ride in a straight line.
Cons Mushy suspension - Loads of plastic in interior of vehicle - The Hybrid version gets less gas mileage than that of some competing vehicles regular V8 Gas only engines.

Yes, I recommend this vehicle.
Pros This is by far the best car we have ever owned. We stretched the wallet a bit, but have not been disappointed. The LS is quiet, responsive, and elegant.
The three suspension settings really do make a difference and the economy engine feature (which shuts down some of the cylinders to improve mpg) results in a significant improvement in mpg which I was able to boost to 28 mpg on the highway.
Cons The consumer electronic interfaces (audio, destination, info, etc.) are so comprehensive it takes time and effort to find out all that it can do and the massive printed manual is little help. One needs a salesman to go through all the features several times to become familiar and comfortable.
General CommentsIf you can afford it, this is the best car on the market in our opinion. My wife, who was always a Mercedes girl, wanted to get the Benz S Class, but I was able to convince her to try the Lexus first and she fell in love with it. The S too is a great car, but not comparable to the reliability of the Lexus.
