General CommentsWe purchased our silver 2010 Lexus is 250 a week ago. I started car shopping months ago and first looked at used Lexus at Lexus dealership. My wife and I then thought it might be better to buy a new Toyota instead. She drove a new Corolla S, and then a new Camry SE. THEN she drove the 2010 Lexus is 250 in used cars. A short lady had brought it in to Toyota for an oil change. Toyota store was closer to her home than drive to Lexus dealership. She ended up trading for a Rav4 so she could sit up higher to see better. All the service had been done at Lexus dealership. Car is in MINT condition at 39,500 miles. My wife was sold before we left the car lot for the test drive! The Camry was very nice, but the Lexus is beyond compare: solid, very comfortable seats and ride. It handles great and the v6 has better power than I expected. Gas mileage is far better than I expected: 28-32 around town. On the interstate at 65, I get 37-41 mpg. The sound system is awesome and we love the satellite radio. Ours has the 18 inch wheels that are gray but with a "smoked" appearance. Very sharp with the gray paint. I am 63 and my wife just turned 60. I tell my adult children that I may be old, but I'm sporty:) . The previous owner had just put a new set of tires on from Discount Tire: low rolling resistance tires made exclusively for Discount Tire by Yokahama. They give great traction rain or shine and look great with an aggressive tread pattern.
