Dashboard Controls
"Hidden" Trunk area - nice extra room
Both sides of the back seat fold down
Miles til empty, MPG, etc display viewable through the stereo
Bluetooth system works great
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) - Although I times I miss feeling my car shifting
Cons Lower Console Material scratches easily
"Hidden" trunk area seems to create some noise while driving
Stereo quality better w/ mp3 player or phone than CD's
Clear-coat Paints - More metallic paints should be available (IE - black metallic)
The CVT (continuously variable transmission) - sometimes I step on the gas a bit much and it doesn't immediately respond (but that's to be expected on a 4-cylinder)
Pin-striping is cracking and coming off (I am having it completely removed)
General CommentsI purchased my 2009 Sentra new for 19k (out the door) and feel like I got an excellent deal (sticker price was $23,495). I have just put 22k miles on it. I regularly service my vehicle and have had absolutely NO issues (knock on wood).
I switched to the Sentra never having owned a new car, let alone a Nissan. I had a '99 Grand Am previously.
There is a sunglasses (or whatever you want to use it for compartment) to the left of the steering wheel - the material used for that and the lower dashboard all the way across scratches very easily. So, I definitely have some nicks.
I notice the back seats make noise when driving (as they are often unoccupied) and I attribute this to the hidden trunk area. I haven't get tried to lay down or remove the separator in the trunk to find if that eliminates the noise.
