General CommentsI have never owned a hatch back in my life and just love this car. I have to admit, I've done some modifications. I put a cold air intake, colder spark plugs, a tune, and wheel spacers. This car is really fun to drive and has plenty of power. It puts out 300 HP and around 340 lb ft of torque. The fuel mileage really went down after the install to around 24 MPG but that's only because of my heavy foot. Over all I think this is a really great car. Reliable, fun to drive, good power, and great handling.
General CommentsThe transmission is terrible. I cannot believe that ford would put this car on the market after they spent all the money to make it a global car. I got so fed up with it after 17000 miles that I took it back to the dealer and traded it for a 2011 fusion. I have always loved the focus but I sincerely doubt I will ever buy another again, that is because ford has said this normal.
General CommentsTraded-in 2011 Speed3 to get 2012 GTI. Traded GTI for 2013 Focus ST. First year with the ST has been 100% reliable, more powerful and sharper in every way than the GTI, yet more civilized and refined than the Speed3. The factory Recaro seats and moon-roof are a must, plus it gets you the awesome 7" color touchscreen. One of the things that sold me on the GTI was substantially less road noise than the Speed3. The Focus is just as quiet cruising as the GTI. With the additional 50HP, haven't felt the need for a power upgrade as the GTI always felt a bit under-powered.

No, I do not recommend this product.
General CommentsNew technology used in transmission feels like a new driver learning how to drive a Standard vehicle.... Bucking, shifting shuttering noise. Ford believes that this is acceptable.
