General CommentsScenario: I own this car, drove it from WA to CA soon after purchasing it, set the car in the ECO PRO configuration, also setting the cruise control to all the various speed limits on my 900 mile drive. I stayed true to the settings. My car had 17K miles. I made the trip in July, 2015, and when the outdoor temperatures were warm.
Goal: Determine the fuel economy of my car. Also to test the comfort level and handling performance.
Results: My trip computer showed a 37 mpg average over my trip. I was amazed that it outperformed the manufacturers spec of 32mpg. I have never owned a BMW prior to this. I was impressed with how the car performed, and its comfort. I am 60 years old, and driving this distance in a single day would have stiffened me up in my other cars. It would have required frequent stops to stretch. The only stops I made were to fill the fuel tank. I did not get tired or stiff on this trip. That is the truth.
Conclusion: BMW is truly a superior car to all the other brands I've owned in my life. The results exceeded all of my expectations. proving to me that my 2013 320i X-drive sedan is truly "The Ultimate Driving Machine". I highly recommend this make, model, and year BMW to anyone.
